Heating in a World Heritage Site
Ironbridge Gorge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a lot of the housing is old: stone and brick cottages on steep lanes, terraces cut into the hillside, and properties that are listed or sit in a conservation area. They are lovely houses to live in and awkward houses to plumb.
The practical issues are access, thick walls and where the flue can go. On a steep lane, getting a boiler, a cylinder or a van close to the door takes some planning. And the flue position matters more here than almost anywhere else in the area.
