Who we are

This website is run by TF Heating Ltd (company number 15977617), registered office 57 Brandsfarm Way, Telford TF3 2JG. We are the data controller for the personal details you give us through it. Questions about your data: email enquire@tfheating.co.uk or call 01952 370000.

What we collect

• Enquiries. Your name, phone number, email, postcode, address and message when you use the contact form, or your name and mobile when you leave them before we open WhatsApp or email.
• Boiler quotes. The answers you give in the quote tool (for example the type of boiler you have, where it is, how many radiators and bathrooms) and the price it shows you.
• Messages. Anything you send us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
• How you found us. The page you first landed on, the website that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link (for example from a Google advert). This is stored with your enquiry so we know which of our adverts and pages work.
• Site usage. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records the pages you visit and the buttons you tap, without your name.

How we use it

• To reply to you, give you a price, arrange a visit and carry out the work.
• To keep a record of your enquiry and any work we do, including for tax and gas safety records.
• To understand which parts of our website and advertising bring enquiries.

We rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. Analytics cookies are only used with your consent. We never sell your details and we do not send marketing unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the website and handle enquiries:

• Vercel, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
• HighLevel (GoHighLevel), the system we keep enquiries and customer records in.
• Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there.
• Our marketing agency, BetterWays, which manages the website and these systems for us.

Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal and tax record-keeping duties. After that they are deleted.

Cookies and similar storage

• Your cookie choice (tf_consent), so we do not ask you again. Always set.
• How you found us (tf_attr_first, tf_attr_last), stored in your browser. Without consent this is kept only until you close the tab.
• Boiler quote progress, stored in your browser so you do not lose your answers if the page reloads.
• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*), only after you accept.

You can change your mind at any time with the cookie settings link, or by clearing your browser's data for this site.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email enquire@tfheating.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
